Filing divorce on grounds of adultery is nothing but a contested divorce and proving such will take years and years. Even if you still file it then your husband will file restitution of conjugal rights and show that he wants to stay with you and take care of you, instead file a maintenance case wherein he would like to spend his hard earned money on wife whom he supposedly doesnt like and in such a case he will like to file mutual divorce and then you can set your self free. Technical discussion is necessary.

You can file a divorce on the grounds of adultery even if he doesn't agree as if he agrees the same will be for mutual divorce. You can file it before the court having jurisdiction which will depend on your place of residence or place if marriage

Yes, u can surely file contested divorce alleging all the grounds before the court. Moreover you can also pray for alimony from your husband. But u must prove that your husband is in adultery as this is a very good ground for divorce.
