Unhappy with lawyer-How do I approach

05-Aug-2024 (In Divorce Law)
I had a lawyer who was fighting my DV case.. in my first hearing itself, he was unable to present my case well and as a result the judge has recommended mediation. I am not happy by the way he approached the hearing.. I want to change the lawyer.. What reason can I tell him for not continuing, or how should I approach him? also will he gv me my file back? do I pay him the rest of the amount?

You have to simply appoint a new advocate and take noc from previous one. Pay whatever is left as per your agreement and work done. However all advocates have different style of working and you need to trust them with your work when you appoint a new one
