We can certainly assist you with this. If your intention is to have the divorce case shifted from a court in Andhra Pradesh to another state, the correct process is to file a Transfer Petition before the Supreme Court under Section 25 of the Civil Procedure Code. The Supreme Court does not itself hear the divorce trial but has the power to move your case from one state court to another if valid reasons such as inconvenience, safety, or hardship are shown. If instead what you are looking for is an appeal, that would only be possible after the family court or High Court has passed a final order. To proceed smoothly, we would need to know whether you are seeking a transfer to another state’s court or looking to escalate the matter by way of appeal.

To transfer a divorce case from a district court to the Supreme Court in India, you must file a transfer petition under Section 25 of the Civil Procedure Code (CPC), 1908, which provides a basis for inter-state transfers. The petition, supported by an affidavit detailing the reasons for the transfer, must be filed with the Supreme Court. You need to prove that the transfer is necessary to meet the ends of justice, due to factors like inconvenience, bias, safety concerns, or a lack of appropriate jurisdiction. Rest we can discuss over call
