Yes it can be taken and from the date of filling after 6 months a date will be given for final hearing. Under normal circumstances a date is given after 6months but if courts diary doesn't permit then after 8-9 months a date is given.

Any Advocate practising in any Indian Court appear. However it is advised one that a local Advocate should be engaged to do the filing.
H & W should stay separate for year before filing. Now the 6 months waiting period is no more there di.Court will take up the matter immediately.

generally the time is about 6 months under any law for mutual divorce. but the time is varied from court to court and case to case. it is better to advice you properly when we can have a face to face interaction.

I think you may asked for Power of Attorney, who can place or examine for and on behalf of the executant. If your question is this, then my answer is no. In Matrimonial Suit whether it is under Hindu Marriage Act or Special Marriage Act. both the Parties should present at the time of Hearing with their Ld. Advocate.
