As per Indian law, a parent cannot unilaterally take children away from the other parent without proper legal custody order. Doing so may be treated as kidnapping or custodial interference. Your wife can file a complaint and police may act to locate you and the children. It's advisable to file for proper custody through court and follow legal procedures to avoid criminal consequences. You should not take such steps without legal permission from a competent court.

The best option for you is to go to court for getting legal custody of the children. The court will order that you can have the custody and then you can make decisions for them. In case you do not inform your wife and take them, it may amount to a police complaint and become a more complicated matter. It is best to seek legal advise and act within the confines of the law.
