Sworn false affidavit regarding the income by spouse

Hello Experts, In the divorce case appeal, I'm just trying to understand why my lawyer is reluctant to make application under 340 for the false affidavit filed by spouse related to her income (which she accepted in the current affidavit). Initially he said you can pursue under 340, However now he is saying its not possible and giving quite irrelevant reasons. Is any typical issue with this kind of application because of which no one want make application?

you are right if somebody has filed false affidavit then we can always file for the scrutiny of the documents we will also have to gather what are the actual and original proof of income and submitted to the court or challenge the order in sessions or High court...and also under 340 we can help you get it done
