Stridhan properties before Divorce - Provision Available?

Dear all,On behalf of my sister, I am posting this. She was suffering from mental issues (kind of schizopernia ) and we’ve clearly explained about her illness before marriage and they whole heartedly accepted.Nowthey sent back to our home and abandoned completely and living with us for last 1.25 years. Hence we planned to get a divorce from end. My question-Is there provision available to get all of my stridhan properties (jewels and other stuffs back before divorce as per hindu law of marriage?

In any case the wife is entitled to get back all her sthridhan properties from the husband. Your sister can file a petition for divorce and in the same proceedings she can claim for return of all her things by filing an application. Otherwise your sister can issue legal notice to her husband through a lawyer asking the husband to return her things.
