Yes, a single petition under Section 482 CrPC can be filed to seek quashing of both the FIR under Section 498A IPC and the Domestic Violence proceedings, if the allegations in both cases are substantially similar and involve the same accused persons. Courts have held that when multiple proceedings arise from the same set of facts, continuing them may amount to abuse of process. However, the High Court will examine whether the facts and legal grounds in both matters are truly overlapping before granting relief. It is advisable to consult a lawyer to assess whether your case qualifies for such a joint petition.

Yes both the cases can be quashed in 482CRPC /528 BNSS if the allegations are same and the accused are the same people. U can get the proceedings stayed also and the entire records will be scrutinized by the High court. Contact me for any help.

No. As both are seperate cases, you have to file seperate petitions for quashing. Though you can give reference of both the cases. You can consult a good lawyer in your city to discuss further and make a good strategy and then file your case.
