She filed maintenance case against me in her area court with allegation that I'm living with a other girl in my house....because of which I have to be humiliated in the society...can I file defamation case against her in this situation....,?

Yes. If she is going around and spreading around false information about you just to hamper your image and the allegations raised by her are false and frivolous you can file a defamation case against her in the court of law. For any other query kindly contact me.

Such allegation against you is grave humiliation. you can definitely file a case of defamation against your wife if the said allegation by your wife was made public or circulated in any way. If it satisfies the ingredients of defamation, you can surely file defamation.

surely you can file. defamation case against her before the court. as well asa file. a complaint to your nearest police station under 499 , 504 . while. filing. case for defamation ask. for compensation. too.
