Separation from my wife as per Muslim law

25-Aug-2023 (In Divorce Law)
My wife is short tempered and has been having fights with my family and me since the day of my marriage. She has been brain washed by her parents. I do not wish to continue marital life with her. We have a 20 months old son and living separately since 7 months. I already lodged a complaint on her father and brother in the police station when they came to attack me once. Police gave them a warning notice. My wife has been forcing me to stay with her though I mentioned clearly in the station that I do not want to continue marital life with and she’s blackmailing to file a case on me. I am ready to pay maintenance or permanent settlement. Please guide me how to file for a divorce based on Muslim law.

under any Act (or under any special act) in any religion divorce is made a very common incident today. If you have proper proofs as to harassments by your wife against you, then you are entitled for getting divorce under the grounds of cruelty. But, strict proofs are essential.
