Send legal notice for divorce petition

20-Mar-2026 (In Divorce Law)
My wife had filed a false complaint against me of dowry and physical & mental harrassment. Which was dismissed in bharosa cell as she herself admitted that no such thing had happened. In bharosa councelling i somewhere felt wronged as the officer and mahila aayog Adhikari only focused on her one sided manipulated story and ended up saying there's no big issue and you can live together. But on what basis i shall trust this person who filed complaint when I had done nothing. How do I proceed

Issue a legal notice seeking divorce on grounds of mental cruelty due to false dowry allegations. Record her admission before Bharosa Cell. Propose mutual consent or state intent to initiate contested divorce if unresolved.

if you want to give her a divorce you can simply give a legal notice for divorce either mutual consent or through contested if she is not ready for divorce give the papers of Bharosa cell and the complaint of domestic violence ready as you might need it, if she claims alimony or maintenance.

Since she admitted the allegations were false, rely on that record. Avoid immediate reconciliation. Proceed legally—file for divorce on cruelty/false allegations or seek written settlement with safeguards before cohabiting again.
