I am sorry to hear about what your sister is going through. If the facts stated are correct, this is a very serious matter involving domestic violence, physical assault, wrongful confinement, and possible criminal offences. Her safety should be the first priority. She should preserve all medical records, photographs of injuries, messages, prescriptions, and any other evidence. Depending on the facts, appropriate proceedings under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, IPC/BNS provisions, and other applicable laws can be initiated, along with seeking immediate protection and residence orders. As the matter appears urgent and requires a detailed legal strategy, I would advise you to connect with me through the LawRato consultation option so that I can understand the complete facts, examine the available evidence, and guide you on the quickest and most effective legal course of action. I will assist you in protecting your sister's rights and taking the necessary legal steps.

it is best for your sister to lodge a written complaint before the concerned police authorities under section 498A explaining all the circumstances. If your sister has failed/unable to lodge the complaint then you and your father and mother can also lodge the complaint for speedy recovery. Subsequently, your sister can file an application under PWDV ACT in order to seek relief from the husband of your sister.

The allegations disclosed in your query are extremely serious. If your sister is being subjected to physical and mental cruelty, she should immediately prioritize her safety and, if possible, move to a secure location. She may lodge a complaint with the local police and seek protection under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005. Depending on the facts and evidence available, offences relating to cruelty by husband and relatives, assault, criminal intimidation, wrongful confinement and other applicable offences may also arise. If there is evidence that medication was administered during pregnancy resulting in miscarriage or loss of the child, the medical records and surrounding circumstances should be examined carefully, as this may have significant legal consequences. Preserve all available evidence, including medical records, prescriptions, messages, photographs, audio/video recordings and details of witnesses. Your sister may also seek residence orders, protection orders, monetary relief and maintenance from the competent court. As the matter involves allegations of domestic violence and possible criminal offences, a detailed review of the facts and documents would be necessary to advise on the most effective legal course of action.
