It was an arrange marriage that happened in May 2013. Very next day of marriage, we found that my wife was suffering from mental illness. Initially we thought it was due to nervousness, but as she spent more time with us, we had to seek medical assistance. Which revealed to us that she has bipolar disorder. My daughter was born in June 2014 and the very next day we had experienced the worst day of our life, when my wife went into an extreme fit of anger and almost killed my daughter who was just 2 days old. Considering that you have taken medical opinion of her health condition, you'd have a strong case both for separation, and criminal prosecution. It'll also help you retain the custody of your child as you'd contend that she's not fit to take care of the child

She is entitled for alimony as well as the custody of your infant daughter. But if you want to dissolve the marriage on the ground of mental disorder of your wife, you will get the custody of your daughter but you have to pay maintenance till the time when she remarry with the other person. In short if you really want a divorce, you have to fight in the court of law. Revert me . All the best.
