Sapinda relationships are prohibited under Hindu marriage law. A sapinda is someone who is: within or has a common ancestor relative within three generations above you on your mother's side of the family.

We need to check whether this type of marriage comes under Spinda relations or not. In some states people marry due to customs like in south India. It depends on many criteria and such questions need scrutiny specific answers. B in touch

a marriage in sapenda is only valid if it exceeds three generations from the side of mother and five generations from the side of father. your mother and her sister have a common and sister which makes you the third generation from other side and hence such a marriage would not be leaguardy valid if it is customary in your community to marry cousin such a marriage can be considered valid.
