Hi All,
Spouse filed divorce petition in the family court with many fake allegations, I have received copy of it, they are expecting response by mid-October, i have following questions:
1. If I do not respond to petition what will happen?
2. Currently I am living outside country and cannot be present in the Family Court. How can I extend date?
3. could you please share format to reply for Divorce Petition.
4. we Got married in July 2014, we are living separately from last two years, is there any possibility court can issue arrest warrant or cancel my visa based on fake allegations?

Since the divorce petition has already been filed by your spouse making false allegations you should rebut the same by filing an appropriate reply to the same and deny. In case you dont reply, your right to file the same would be closed and all allegations stands proved. If you can't appear, you may apprise your lawyer and he will appear on your behalf.

In your case you must hire an advocate and authorise him to act on your behalf and he will file a reply from your side. You need not come the authority letter will be attached with the reply. And there can’t be any kind of arrest warrant or cancellation of visa as you have not committed a criminal offence. For rest one has to see the divorce petition filed by your wife.

Hello, since you have received the divorce petition filed by your, you have to or any representatives of your's can appear on behalf of you on given date and yes yo need to file reply of the same. if not filed or no one appear on your behalf in that case the court will issue summons against you. Since you are living abroad you can appear before court via VC.
