Remove name from joint account

My divorce case is in court & i want to remove my name from joint account (me and my husband). I want to remove my name from that account & don’t have any savings in that. What is the process for that as i heard it requires consent of both holders . But they aren’t in good terms. So how it can be done ?

I can help. nothing can be done without your consent. you have all the right to remove your name from the joint account. I grant an order from the court for removal of your name from the joint account.

Visit the bank branch where the account is held and request the form for deletion of a joint account holder. Complete the form with the necessary details, including the account number, type of account, and the name of the holder whose name is to be deleted. Sign this document & submit
