Regarding wife's rights over joint property

what remedy wife have regarding joint properties if her husband is absconding and she need to sale/lease property to fulfill her basic needs? under which provision wife can approach court to grant her permission to sale or lease property

Hi Good Afternoon, In legal perspective you can not sale the joint property directly. but if you want to claim the property and want ownership then you have to file Matrimonial petition in the court where you have to take ex-parte order and claim ownership. their are some solution available in the law to claim ownership in the joint property. for more details and querries then contact us and visit our website
