Regarding non paying of maintanance

I am asking question for my sister.Her husband applied divorce case in june 2020 he didnt appear in court till now.We filed maintanance for my sister and her 1 year old kid.He didnt reply to that case.Atlast we filed Dv in mahila court.First hearing is next week.How the procedure will be in mahila court.How long it will take for their appearance
As far as the maintenance case is concerned the court may pass exparte order for maintenance in the absence of the husband. In the domestic violence case the court may issue warrant of arrest against the husband/respondent on his nonappearance.
