Regarding Domestic violence case

Does domestic violence case comes under civil matter or criminal matter ?? Is it possible to present dv case in court of family court where divorce case is going on?? And dv case is presented in which court bandra family court or some other court ?? And how much time does it takes to file a DV case ?? Plzz answer this question its a kindly request

Domestic Violence Case falls under the category of Civil cum Criminal Case. Yes, it is possible to run DV Case and Divorce case parallely before the concerned Family Court. DV case can be filed before a Magistrate or a Family Court Judge under the DV Act, 2005.

Hello Good Afternoon, Domestic violence case comes under criminal case It will not goes to family court, it only goes to metropolitan court Bandra family court does not have the jurisdiction/rights for the dv cases To file DV case in the court is quite simple and time saving For more details and info about DV case then contact us or visit our website
