Regarding Divorce summon acknowledgement

I have got divorce notice from my husband.. but I could not able to acknowledge it as i am out of city.. it was returned backCan you please let me know whether i will get penalty? If i refuse to get the notice any action will be taken?nHow many times fresh notice will be sent to me again?

No need to worry. Usually intimation will be delivered regarding the post and you need to collect it from the post office within seven days. If it is returned already then you will receive fresh notice one or two more times. If you have deliberately refused to receive the court notice then only the case will be decided against you.
