Query about Maintenance case petition

We kept MC Case, the opponent person is not coming to court, now the opponent become exparte and now we need to file a petition again because my lawyer is always asking to money to file the petitions just tel me he is cheating and taking the money from us? Or he is really filing the petition. Case status showing in online is plain/plaintiff evidence.

hi as the stage is in plaintiff evidence you need to file evidence and had you filed an petition for interim maintenance to grant maintenance and if your lawyer is charging more than you could yake no objection certificate from him and engage another advocate
