Procedure to transfer the divorce petition from another state

marriage in 2007 in jaipur, rajasthan while last residence together in noida, wife now working in mumbai and husband/me unemployed/building startup in noida, wife took all jewellery and all cash from joint a/c slyly, bankrupting my startup and now filed for divorce on cruelty in jalandhar, where her brother/mom currently live, though she has never lived there, how to transfer divorce petition and recover money (hindu religion), also notice/court summons sent to my parents house not received by me but am aware of it thru my parents, do I need to attend? or can dismiss/transfer case, all allegations are really baseless and frivolous and not serious in nature also, what to do? please advise...

You may either appear there in jalandhar and challenge the proceedings on the ground of jurisdiction or for transfer you will have to file a case in the Supreme court for which I will not advise.

First decide whether u want divorce or not . U can also filed in di force separately in Noida. Then if u want u can attend court in Noida for divorce . Divorce proceeding in jalandhar can be dismissed as as ur divorce is already filed and u have not received any summon. For complete information and help Contact us in Noida/ Greater Noida.
