Procedure to file for divorce if husband is not responding
03-Sep-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I have sent an email to my husband for divorce he has not replied to my final email. Please suggest what is the next step to be taken. I dont want him in my life this is my final decision.
Send him a legal notice through a lawyer. If he still doesn't respondo then file a divorce petition in court. If he does not turn up for the proceedings then the Court after a certain period will issue an Ex parte order and you will get a divorce. If he appears in court then you have to contest the divorce.

You can send him a legal notice first in an attempt to settle it amicably & file mutual consent divorce , if that fails you have no option but to file a one sided divorce Petition. Meet an advocate to discuss in detail .
