Procedure to file for divorce after few days of marriage

Hii I got married just couple of week before through arrange marriage But after 2 day of marriage I came to know her behaviour was very cruel brutal of my family like mother and father. She threaten them and abused them and most of the time she beaten to my mother. I am very upset Pls suggust if there any plausibility of taking divorce to my wife
You will have to wait for minimum 90 days of marriage.
only Cruelty is not the proper ground to divorce,
You should talk to her parent and her relatives and organise a meeting with both family and friends of you both and try to make make a good decision.
Otherwise you can go to Mahila Thana before court .....

Dear I can feel your stated emotions but sadly there is no any static provisions to defend a husband against wife in Indian Laws. Most of the Laws written are in favor of wife and on your grounds you can't avail Divorce. If you can prove your blame against your wife before the court then you may take divorce.

In normal circumstances, a divorce petition cannot be filed before expiry of one year of the marriage. But in special circumstances, it can be filed and it is upon the court to entertain it or not. In the alternative, if your wife's behaviour is such a cruel, as you have stated, it can be declared insanity and on the ground of insanity, you can file a petition for nullity of marriage.
