In your case you have two options, either you can file a report to the concerned police station for this kind of cruelty and harassment, it will be under section 498 a IPC thenceforth it will be referred to crime against women which is called CAW cell and there might be some mediation and conciliation regarding whatever is happening with you and you can even file a complaint case at the concerned court regarding Domestic violence! Thanks n b in touch

Your issues seems very serious to me and it seems your husband has abusive nature. You should file a complaint under the domestic violence Act for all the atrocities committed upon you by your husband and in laws. Further you should file a maintenance petition and seek maintenance.

You can file the domestic violence case and register the complaint at the police station against the domestic violence in the nature of physical, sexual, and emotional you have suffered all these years. This will book the family into good notes. you will get the maintenance and you will also get a protection order, residential order from the court and you can live at your matrimonial home with dignity.

If the behaviour of your husband and in-laws are intolerable towards you then it’s better for you to file for divorce and have a separate and fresh life. You can also file a DV case or a case under section 125 CrPC and claim your monthly maintenance or the lump sum alimony payment. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.
