Petty case will cancel my divorce case

My wife filed sec9 I filed sec13 1ia. No kids. She filed 498a case after 2years in last week. Now her father put a compliant in police station and filed petty case 290 ipc sec on me and my father. Is my divorce case get cancelled if I accepted my petty case in the court and paid the fine.
Dear Client,
both the case are separate one is civil another is criminal, if you accept your petty matter it doesn't means that your divorce matter will get cancel.

Dear Sir,
There will be no link between the petty case and conviction in the said petty case by way of paying the fine. Your divorce case cannot be dismissed summarily. Both your case and case filed by your wife may be clubbed together. You may file Discharge Application in respect of Criminal case pending against you.
