Person after marriage fled with the jwellery of wife given by her moth

How can the Hindu person be punished who came with the promise to settle in Hyderabad and married a woman just for two months and fled with her jwellery given by her mother to his native village at Burdwan District in West Bengal.
lodge a fir, in the local police station, and file a writ of habeas corpus. The police will issue a search warrant against the husband name ,then he will co.e back definitely for settlement. without police complaint nothing can be done
