Sir it is not possible to get back money but you can stop further payment. At the time of 1st motion you can place your view secure about her presence in second motion and to pay the entire payment when decree of divorce is passed

If you have to pay total 30 lakh to your wife than you should give her in three instalment .10 lakh is in first motion 10 is in mediation and 10 to is at second motion .if your wife deviates herself from second motion than you may file contempt of court case there is so many ruling on this .or you may give only 10 lakh at first motion rest is on second motion order .

Sir, you may tender the least amount out of 30 lacs what may be agreed between you and your wife. And no simple way is there to recover the amount paid at the time of first motion and the wife denies to come to second motion. To recover the amount paid, you would institute another proceeding.
