Part payments for MCD and removal of 498.

19-Sep-2024 (In Divorce Law)
I only have 80% of the agreed alimony money ready right now. The remaining may take some time. Is it a valid to negotiate with them to get MCD with 80% of the money and then pay 20% of the money before 498 a case gets dismissed? If i do this, will these be treated as 2 separate cases or will the judgements be tied to each other? Are there any risks attached to this method?

Well, you need to negotiate with them in a concrete manner wisely, meticulously, by doing proper planning, otherwise, you may have to face legal trouble. I cannot give you direct answer of your question, considering, I need to first ask certain questions relating to your case, on getting answers of such questions, I can render you legal advice.
