opposite party is not complying mediation agreement

29-Jun-2024 (In Divorce Law)
"My mediation agreement has been decreed by the family court, but the opposite party is not complying with the terms. The agreement includes a clause that the 498A case should be withdrawn. Can I file a petition to quash the 498A case in the High Court? Is the decree valid?"

Yes, you can quash an FIR with a mediation agreement by filing a petition in the High Court. Once filed, the case can be quashed within about a month, depending on the court's schedule and procedures.
