One time alimony to wife after rcr decree in favour of wife

28-Feb-2024 (In Divorce Law)
In trail court my husband filed divorce and i filed rcr. His petition dismissed and mine rcr is allowed. I never filed any application for permanent alimony. But after 3 years he did not complay the order and i filed the execution petition. Now my matter reached to apeal in high court. Now can i ask for permanent alimony(one time lumsum alimony) in hc ? Or again i have to file divorce and one time alimony in lower court? Please clarify

Dear Madam, Since your husband violated a decree of RCR he will be filed to the extent upto Rupees Twenty Five Thousand per month till he join the matrimony otherwise Court will direct him to pay alimony in lumpsum in lieu of monthly fine in violation of RCR decree. You may settle agreeing for Divorce if he pays huge alimony and take the matter to mediation.
