Obtaining Divorce and avoid FIR under 498A

My wife has been staying away from me for the last 20 months and is completely inaccessible by either phone or in person. When I call her number one of her family members answer the call and intimidate me by being illogical, evasive and extremely rude. She was only with me for five months after marriage. Once she got to know she was pregnant, she left her matrimonial home without informing us and has been inaccessible for the last 20 months. Her parents and siblings started demanding a share of my ancestral property or else they would file case under 498A. I approached the local police in Hiriyur to lodge a complaint against abortion without my knowledge. The police just kept ignoring me. it has been 18 months since she has had an abortion. She and her parents have filed a police complaint 9 months back stating that I have denied taking her back. I received a notice from Hiriyur police to appear before them, 9 months ago.

But it will help you only as a record of your wife having left you and you having made attempts to get her back our find her whereabouts. you can file a suit for restitution of conjugal rights agonist and somehow manage to get the core notices served on her. if you get a judgement in your favour and if she disobeys the judgement you will have a ground to file for divorce
