NOTARY PAPER DIVORCE IS VALID IN AHMEDABAD , GUJARAT.

Dear Sir, I have done marriage with lady whose earlier divorce was done. His brother told me that they have separated legally, but after marriage when i asked for divorce paper they give me the divorce which has taken on notary paper which i am not accepting and also court not accepting. So should i can file a nullity of marriage. nnPlease guide.

i got your point notory divorce is not true divorce it's should be file divorce decree before the family court which is true divorce. notory divorce is only agreement but it's useless for marriage cancellation so kindly share your details waise history therefore I will give you updates

Notarial Divorce has no value in the eyes of Law, concern parties should approach to the Court of Law for getting a Decree of Divorce which can enforceable by Law
