Non-appearance of the complainant (my wife) in 498A case against me

My wife has filed case against me u/s 498A and DP Act, But she is not deposing before the court. 8 summons have been served to her over past more than 1 year. On third summon, she gave an application before the court for reunion. On 6th summon, she appeared in court but refused to depose. How many summons would get served to her before the case is dismissed?

Dear Sir, You have two options. One you can go to High Court and get a direction to the Trial Court to dispose the criminal case within next six months or so otherwise it may dragged for two years. Secondly, your advocate may request the Court to examine other witnesses if your wife not ready to give oral evidence before the Criminal Court.
