seeking advice for my wife who initiated mediation due to an incident of adultery, for which I've taken responsibility. It occurred under unfortunate circumstances, and I genuinely feel guilty. Despite resolving the situation and having no contact with the other person for a year, my wife is still seeking separation. Over the past year, I've experienced stress and anxiety while trying to mend things, but she appears unwilling to reconcile. In the last three months, she's been staying..

If you wish to stay with your partner and he/she is not in your home then you can go for section 9 HMA and call back him/her into your matrimonial life and if the situation is insecure for you then you can also file for divorce on cruelty grounds. I would suggest you to go for mutual divorce because it's cost effective and ends up in a max of 6 months.

Is there any documented confession of adultery by you basis which your spouse can prove it. Has the same being recorded in the meditation centre by the mediator. In case she is not staying with You , you should take precautionary measures to safeguard you from false implications. Seek a detailed legal consultation and clear Your ambiguity

Do you have kids ? have u written any where that u take the responsibility of adultery ,you can file petition for conjugal rights .u can also go for counseling Sessions to save ur marriage. how long she has been separated from you does she has any proof of adultery incident ?
