Need a divorce on mutual ground but wife wants to contest what to do

26-Mar-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hi, We had been married for 4 years and living separately from past 6 months now. I moved out coz there was nothing left in the marriage. She did nothing to save the marriage either. She kept blaming me for everything. Now I want to file for divorce on mutual grounds but she says send me a notice. I asked if she will contest it, she said I dont know. Please suggest a way out.

Send her notice through advocate and wait for her reply. if she is too ready for divorce then you both can file divorce mutually or else you will come to know her demands in case any. then take a call about filing contested petition.

You can not force her to go for mutual divorce, where as you mentioned sufficient reasons for divorce you also can file for divorce, there are chances in future to make it mutual divorce and about notice you can send legal notice to your wife asking for divorce
