My wife said we are in talks for settlement, need time to judge

02-Apr-2024 (In Divorce Law)
After few months of marriage we got separated. She filed sec9 and I filed sec13 1ia. Our counseling conducted by court was failed. My wife said we are in talks for settlement and asked judge, need more time. But I have given detailed document how they mentally harassed me from day1 of our marriage, as proof to judge. Next hearing in may 2024.

okay but what you are willing to ask in this query I cannot figure it out. You have just given in brief the statement of what is happening but what really you want to ask is not mention over there. your case is going so there might be an advocate

If there's no scope of living together then rather stretching the relationship I would suggest you to go with mutual divorce because it's cost effective and ends up in a maximum of six months. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

You need to hire expert advocate in this case if your Courtney counsel is not guiding you properly. Furthermore, there will be trail for both the cases n u need to submit your reply in sec 9 case n she has to submit her reply in dev 13 cases. Kindly be in touch to discuss this matter

Okay. So what do you want from a lawyer? Should a lawyer listen to your grievance or maybe assist you address the same? Unless you communicate your issue clearly, you won't be out of the problem. Please think again and raise query.

It seems that you are not interested in settlement. In that case, even if your wife asks for mediation one more time from court, you can can mention that it has failed once. You have stated that you have provided documents on record in the court, which proves that you have been harassed. In that case, you do not need to worry much. Wait for your date in May.
