My wife is not agreed for divorce but filed domestic violence case,
27-Jan-2025 (In Divorce Law)
wife filed 498A. She didnot come up in court for witness. The judge gave acquittal all of us. She didnt provide any proof. It is almost 2 yr we r staying separate. My lawyer tried to convince her for Mutual divorce. she did not agree. (No kids, wife working)
I did not understand if she wants to stay with us why she filed fake 498A. I want to move ahead of my life. Please suggest should I file contested divorce ( I heard that if husband files divorce, he needs pay more) or anything else i can do
Is there any case going on for alimony? Whether you are providing to your wife? Is there any case of sec . 125 ? Have you written any representation to your wife? Of course you can file a divorce suit against your wife on the ground of harassment as you have enough documents of the acquittal of Sec. 498a .
