My wife has left her matrimonial house to In-laws house

01-Mar-2024 (In Divorce Law)
I am newly married groom (5 months). My marriage life is not going well. My wife is asking to live in separate house from my parents. I refused and now she has left my house along with jewels and staying in her parents house for last 1 month. I cant tolerate the torture by my wife. I am fearing whether my wife will file dowry/harassment case in my name from in-laws house. Her family is supporting her and not sending her to my home. Legally, how should i proceed? I am from Chennai.

hi alocious here. I can well understand your concern from the query raised, in the event of your spouse filing an harassment case or domestic violence you can contest the case, a case cannot be established without actual evidence, thank you, you can contact me for further clarifications

Dont delay the proceedings, at first take a notice to your wife to resume the matrimonial home. If she fails to return, file a petition on restitution of conjugal rights. If you have completed this procedure her complaint will never be appreciated.
