My wife filed a false attempt to Murder case on me post 1 most of filing of harassment and dowry case on me and my family. Its been more than 5 months now the police have not filed the Chargesheet. We recently had a communication with the Investigation officer and the Investigation officer confirmed they will be filing of the chargesheet in next few days. However the Investigation officer that in IPC Sec 307 there is no witness so as per Sec 164 my wife is the witness so that charges won't be dropped. Can this be considered please advice.
hi you could file quash petition in high court on the ground that you are not connected to the charges against you and there is no proper evidence and also discharge petition to discharge you from the case
