My options in separation/divorce

I am married since last 28 years having 2 children of 27 & 25 years age. My wife is a selfish, rude, cruel, extreme egoistic lady has acute temperamental behaviour. She has no attachment & involvement with the house, me and children. Also she is too much foul mouth to all family members, does not have any care for all of us, has created very depressing environment in the house and made the life of all members miserable. I and my children do not want to live with her anymore as all efforts for improvement have failed. Want separation, please advise regarding my legal options in this matter and also about financial burden / alimony on me i(f any).

You can either go for divorce or for legal separation. Mutual divorce Shall be the best way out to this marriage, but the same is possible only incase your wife too is ready for divorce. If she’s not ready for mutual divorce, contest a divorce case agsainst her on the ground of cruelty
