My lawyer asking fee for another case

My wife filed sec9 and I filed sec13 1ia. Court counseling failed. I filed counter to her case and submit the proofs document. She also filed counter and submitted the proofs document. Recently she submit document that club the two cases and give judgement quickly. Now we need to counter it, we have no objection. Now my lawyer asking fee for second case to counter her above request. Shall I need to pay to the lawyer? Did he playing game? Is it good for me?

Dear Sir, If you are not paid fee for second case that is Section 9 filed by your wife then you have to pay fee. Both the cases will be clubbed and the Court will decide by a common judgment otherwise there is a chance of getting contradictory judgments.
