My husband is in PSU and has been transferred to some other place which l don't have any idea and dont have the address too. Since the birth of our child he abondoned us and didn't respond to my phn calls or messages. Its been around 3 yrs now since we have any contact. I am about to complete my studies and filed the RTIs 2 times to get his address. But the officials didn't responded as of now. How can i proceed without having the address?

If the behaviour of your husband is intolerable towards you can anytime send a complaint regarding your grievances in writing to the police station according to your jurisdiction. And if you wish to go legal then you can also file a petition under section 12 DV or section 125 CrPC and claim maintenance for yourself as well as for your child. The court will send the notice on the last known address and if still he fails to appear then warrants can also be issued against the accused. And if there's no scope of living together then rather stretching the relationship you should file for contested divorce under the ground of cruelty. I would suggest you to go with mutual divorce because it's cost effective and ends up in a maximum of six months. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

Dear ma'am Instead of filing police complaints or sending legal notices to your husband's department as other advocates may be advising you, the most effective way to track down your husband is to give a written representation to the department of your husband of which you know him to have last worked into. The PSUs are governed under the CCS (conduct) rules (1964). The misconduct of your husband against you makes him liable for departmental action against him as well as you will get to know about his current whereabouts as well. If you need my assistance you may consult me.
