My husband dishonoured the interim order passed in my favour. What should I do for recovery of arrears in Family court Bandra. Should I file contempt of court petition in family court. ( under which sections) . I was told we can't file contempt of court petition in family court as only High Court we entertain such Petitions.bKindly help.

Dear Queriest as per your query if your husband has dishonoured the interim maintenance the option for the same is that we can file application before the court for the arrears of the maintenance, which will eventually happen, also it can be recovered through execution proceedings, for more information about the same kindly call me.

if your husband not paying maintenance then you may file execution proceedings. When there is no adherence to that, there could be non bailable warrant issued in name of husband. husband's property could be attached, in order to recover the amount, as and when issued by court.

Well, who told you, that, Contempt of Court cannot be filed in Family Court? Whether the Family Court Judge personally told you or your Advocate has told you? kindly clear that first. As far as for recovery of Maintenance Arrears, you can file a case in the concerned Execution Court.

u just talk to ur lawyer that he should take next step against ur husband. your lawyer can file application for warranty in ur favour. u have to talk with you lawyer if is not working properly u should change ur lawyer for the better results
