12-Oct-2023 (In Divorce Law)
My brother and his wife are living separately now. My brother has filed for divorce and his wife is demanding a huge sum as alimony for mutual divorce settlement. She is saying that her parents have spent for marriage expenses and her treatment for artificial child birth treatment. No child yet. She is educated and running new business after separation from my brother. She is also demanding the jewels we gave to her during marriage as hers. Is she eligible for alimony? Will the court approve her alimony if we contest her request?
