Hi,
Wife have been providing for the entire household and child care expenses since marriage and the husband provided nil as he was setting up his business and failed. The child is now 13 years old. Now when husband started earning in his business he wanted divorce without any maintenance. Wife have been working earning well till Feb 2023. She lost her job and not getting any regular job and doing freelancing work. Her income fell from 40LPA to 10LPA. Can she show that husband have not contribu
Yes, this is a valid point and it can definetly be contested. The husband has the responsibility to take care of his family and he cannot leave them estranged without fulfilling his duties. This issue can be contested before the Court of law and maintenance can also be claimed from the husband.
