In court case status, "P.O. is on leave"means the Presiding Officer (PO), i.e., the judge, is absent. Since the judge is not available, the hearing will not proceed, and the case is usually adjourned to a new date.

  • PO on EL: The judge is on Earned Leave.

  • PO on O.D.: The judge is on Other Duty (official assignment elsewhere).

  • PO transferred: The judge has been moved to another court.

When this happens, hearings are postponed, and the next date is updated on the court?s website or notice board. In urgent cases, a duty judge may step in, but for routine matters, you?ll need to wait for the new date. This is a normal administrative update and does not affect the merits of your case.

Hi PO is on EL means, the judge is on leave. So as and when the Judge returns from leave, the case will be heard on next scheduled date of hearing. Also, you should await summons before attending the court on next hearing. Hope this information is useful.
