Me and my wife's family have agreed for a mutual divorce. Got married on 18 feb 2019. Split on 12 may 2019. Is it possible to apply for mutual divorce now or any time soon ?
Yes..you can file mutual divorce petition before the concerned court now or any time from now...Generally court will give 6 months time to settle the matters as agreed in the mutual divorce petition..If you both complies all matters earlier than you both agreed, you both can file advance petition before the time given by the court and get divorce...

Following conditions must be satisfied for making a joint petition for divorce by mutual consent:
That husband and wife have been living separately for a period of one year or more.
That they have not been able to live together.
That both husband and wife have mutually agreed that the marriage should be dissolved.
Thus, where the marriage has completely failed and both parties feel that it is not possible to live together, and where the aforesaid 3 conditions are satisfied, both the husband and wife can file a joint petition before the District Court for dissolution of marriage, i.e., for divorce by mutual consent, under the provisions of the aforesaid Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act.

Hi sir, mutual consent is not possible before completing a year of separation. but after completion of a year and two moths from the date of marriage, we can immediately file the mutual divorce petition. it will be helpful for both of you.
