Me and my husband have decided to stay seperately as there has been lot of mental stress and physical abuse in the relationship, I can't take it anymore. My parents and brother suggested me to file DV complaint as my husband tried to recently strangulate me and lot of physical torture, but I avoided it. We have verbally agreed that kids will stay for weekdays with me and weekends with him. What sort of documentation is required for this arrangement around this arrangement and also how expenses will be split between two of us. I assume that verbal agreement is not sufficient. Also I have observed that my husband has started brainwashing my kids against me, so how do I do control it.

Both of you can go through a settlement deed that will be signed by you as well as by two witnesses and will be notarised. In that agreement you can write your mutually decided terms and conditions regarding any alimony to be received and also regarding your kids and all. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

mam as i can see your issues for which you want documentation to be prepaired so tht your husband can not move back from his words / settlement from you . but tht normal settlement which is prepared out of court can be broken vwry easily and for enforcement of tht compromise deed / agreement we can not movw with full court support so you need to do this compromise in court so that if your husband wanta to break the compromise deed then he have to be arrested.
