Married to a girl who is already married is my marriage valid

I was in a relationship with a girl for a year and married the same girl. We have been married for almost 2 years now. After few months of marriage I came to know that the girl was already married and have 4 years of boy from her first marriage. She does accept she intentionally hide the information from me. She is not legally separated from her first husband. What are the consequences of our marriage will be. Whether her ex-husband can take legal action against me? We both belong to Hindu religion. After we married I registered our marriage to a government ward office (after that I came to know about her past). Is our marriage legal? Now if I want to separate from her what legal procedure will I have to follow. Thank you.

yes her husband can file case of adultery against you. even if you get divorce from her, your act of getting married with her and staying with her amount to adultery and hence getting divorce from her is not solution
